Circle C Beginnings
Young readers meet spunky, 6-year-old Andi Carter, who is eager to grow up and experience the Wild West on the Circle C ranch in 1874. Exploring the ranch with her friend Riley, meeting Indians, and a visit to the state fair are a few of Andi’s adventures. It’s 1877, and Andi is nine years old. Her filly Taffy is three–the perfect age for them to finally become a horse-and-rider pair. The Stepping Stones are a step up from the Beginnings. Readers ages 7-10, who are not quite ready for the middle-grade Circle C Adventures, will find these books “just right.” They also include fun illustrations. Best of all, this series can stand alone and be read without prior knowledge of the Beginnings.
